The second series of public meetings has been scheduled for the week of July 15, 2002. During these meetings, maps of the proposed alternative corridors will be presented. A come-and-go type of format will be used for the three identical meetings conducted on successive evenings between 5:30 and 7:30 PM. On Tuesday, July 16, the first meeting will be held in the gymnasium of Cleveland High School. The school is located on the north side of SR 8 between US 61 and Delta State University. On Wednesday, July 17, the second meeting will be conducted in the cafeteria of Clarksdale High School. This school is located at 1101 Wildcat Drive, and is on the opposite side of the road fro the Expo Center. On Thursday, July 18, the final meeting will be held at the gymnasium of the G.W. Henderson Recreation Center in Tunica. The center is located to the west of US 61 near the northern limits. It is visible from the highway. The physical address of the center is 1165 Abbay Drive.
